Massage is the most important part of Ayurveda – the ancient Indian system for maintaining health. This is the most comprehensive therapeutic practice of massage known today in the world. Because Ayurveda approaches everyone individually, the choice of massage techniques, oils, and herbs to be used depends on the nature or constitution (prakriti) of each patient. The Ayurvedic massage stimulates simultaneously the nadis (channels of life energy), the marma points (bioactive points in the body), and the chakras.

The Universum-Medical holistic center practices Abhianga, Shoroabhianga, Shirodharta, Talodal, Baysvedana, Pindasveda, and other Ayurvedic Therapies.

The goal of the Ayurvedic massage is to detoxify and remove any excess in the organism, to strengthen and rejuvenate, to release suppressed emotions.
